Ramseur Baptist Leadership
Ramseur Baptist is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.
Pastor John M Brown
Pastor John Brown was appointed to serve as Ramseur Baptist's Senior Pastor June, 2005, after serving as a missionary to the country of Ireland. Pastor John’s vision is to bring the younger generation into connection with the previous generations in fellowship, worship, and service.
After completing his graduate studies at Liberty University, Pastor John's dream of helping to train men for the Gospel ministry came into being when he was made a faculty member at ABU. In 2015, Pastor became the Faculty Chair of the Arlington Baptist University School of Ministry Pastoral studies department. Currently, he is working on his doctoral studies with a seminary in the United Kingdom.
Pastor John has been happily married for over 20 years to his wife, Melanie. They have three children: Evelyn, Brendan, and Allison.
Pastor and Melanie are looking forward to many fruitful years as God continues to bless the Ramseur Baptist Church!
Bro. Don Morton was appointed to serve as Ramseur Baptist's Associate Pastor 2005. Prior to that, he served 30 years as a missionary in England and Canada alongside his family. Bro. Morton teaches Sunday School on most Sundays in the main sanctuary and assists Pastor John in many pastorly duties, not limited to tending to many of our sick and homebound members of the congregation. He is dedicated to serving the Lord in all areas of his life.
He is adored by his two daughters and three grandchildren.
