Welcome to Ramseur Baptist. It is our desire to be a blessing to our community and to each other. Our fellowship is a refuge of simplicity and authenticity in an increasingly complex and superficial culture. We are rooted in the core values of Scripture and embrace our purpose of being on mission for God in this world.
What Should I Expect?
We are learning to adapt to the changes that are emerging in our society and we seek to serve in a clean, safe, and God-honoring environment.
Where Should I Go When I Enter The Building?
As your family walks in the front door, you will be greeted by smiling faces. Our Greeters will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have. Our sanctuary is in the center of the building and we have classrooms on either side of the hallway. Our bathrooms are located in the back hallway of the church building.
Is it Family Friendly
No matter your family dynamics, you're welcome at Ramseur Baptist and we're excited for you to consider being a part of our church family! Our intent is to serve the whole family.
-Infants and toddlers are provided a clean, well-staffed nurseries during Morning and Wednesday Church Services. Our nursery is always open to children ages 0-4. We will ask you to fill out some information for your little one so we can provide the best care possible.
-Children's Church welcomes ages 5-12. Your children will receive real spiritual training from a group of caring leaders during this time but of course they are always welcome to sit with parents in the main sanctuary!
-Teenagers are welcome to sit with the youth and youth leader at the front of the sanctuary during Sunday Morning Worship services. Our Youth meet for Wednesday Night and Sunday School Services.
What Are Your Services Like?
Whether it is through the music, pray or preaching, God's Word is at the center of all of our gatherings. Each service includes a time of prayer, preaching and giving. The sermons are built on God’s Word, not someone else's ideas, and aim at transforming our lives to be more like Jesus Christ. Our music and worship has a touch of traditional Southern style mixed with traditional hymns.
Ramseur Baptist Church is a group of regular people in our community (just like you!) who want to honor our Lord Jesus Christ and encourage each other to grow in our walk with Him.
The worship service is a special time for us to come together as a community to learn, be encouraged and to be challenged by God's Word. Other opportunities exist beyond the Sunday worship service where members have a chance to grow, fellowship, or otherwise be a part of a Church family that lives out their faith together.
What should I wear?
We are more concerned about you and your presence with us than we are with what you wear. As a church, we gather to worship the Lord and want to dress in a way that honors God.
